6 February 2002.

The area where the reed bed was to be constructed was overgrown with trees, shrubs and weeds. As this was mainly a marshland, with two streams flowing through it, a board walk was constructed leading to a viewing platform on the bank of the Welsh Harp Reservoir.

This is a newly repaired boardwalk, replacing a previous old one.
