RECYCLING
In 2003 BBE undertook
action research in Stonebridge CED area to explore the opportunity of
creating a local social enterprise that reclaims and recycles valued waste
to provide employment for local people.
The Feasibility Study
is now available at BBE offices.

The
Recyclers' Forum
 |
The Recyclers'
Forum is a social network for the household recycler. It provides
both the experienced recycler and the beginner with the opportunity
to voice and exchange recycling ideas through quarterly newsletters
and social events.
The members
keep the Forum alive by:
- Maximising their opportunity to recycle through the Green Box
scheme, Bring Banks and Composting
- Meeting with other members at the events to exchange ideas and
experiences
- Contributing to BBE's research on recycling and waste issues

The Recyclers' Forum
is a unique body representing the people who without their participation
no recycling scheme can be successful, it complements the bodies representing
the councils, collectors, processors etc. If you would like to join the
